The Fate Of Ensign Deadmeat

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 18394

Tuvok and Chakotay remove the bigger chunks of the Ensign and go roaming the halls looking for another victim, er, crewperson to send with on the rescue craft.
They grab Crewman Anderson. He was an interesting case. He was from the 'Gangster Planet' discovered by Captain Kirk. Kirk's associate, Dr. McCoy, had forgotten his communicator and it was used by Anderson to plead for help and safety from a passing Betazoid pleasure cruise. The Captain had the man beamed up. On the way back to Betazoid, Anderson had saved the ship from a cult that worshipped the Borg. This helped greatly in his attempt to get into Starfleet.

  1. Anderson is thrown into the rescue craft.
  2. A passing power surge explodes a console, sending two pounds of shrapnel straight into Anderson's skull. Tuvok wonders why consoles explode.
