Out of towners.....

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17994

Betty tore herself free from the body bag and leapt from the ambulance, causing Mrs. Crabitz to fall into a dead faint.

Betty looks down in bemusement at the fainted woman for a moment, and then over at the still staring paramedic.

"Take care of her, will you?" Betty said in a suddenly weary voice, "I'm going back to my trailer to get an aspirin. Thank!"

Betty, usually more concerned for her fellow human being, instead turns and leaves the scene. She's had too strange of day to be able to feel much for a busybody who can't seem to be able to tell the difference between an occupation rooted in metaphysics and an occupation rooted in science.

So, she leaves the scene of her (temporary) death and instead heads back to her home. She enters her trailer, pets her cats before going back to her bathroom to get some aspirin (and water). Then....while swallowing her aspirin she hears a scuffle happening in the other room!

"I told you to let me go first, you F***ing Idiot!" shouts a man who looks a bit like Gene Hackman (in his role from that move called Enemy of the State) at Avon from Blake's Seven?!

Avon, looking enraged, only has an energy pistol halfway out of it's hiding place. It is only halfway out, for a young man with blue eyes the color of faded blue jeans has an old fashioned revolver in his face....and looks like he's going to shoot if Avon moves one more inch.

Amongst other things, Avon finds himself it oh so bloody ironic that the very gun that he'd had Vila steal from that one odd display (a prototype made by someone named Alicia John) and almost kill Agent Arlen with (re: 17165) was....now within an inch of his face.

Roland didn't look to be the type to not be serious in using it if need be....

Brill mutters something a bit more vile before turning giving a disparaging glance over at.....Vila and some woman who's with him?!

"That's a VHS tape you've got there," he growls, "The VCR takes Beta."

Guy had wanted to show his wife (and kids) yet again that one episode where he was the hero. City on the Edge of the World was a nice episode, but Brill felt that the thief should put a check on his ego, sometime.

At least Vila met up with meet a girl with nice legs and settled down by a lake and raised kids, the way he said he wanted to. Brill couldn't fault him on that, and even applauded it. That said, though.....

Betty, still stunned, then goes into even deeper shock when yet another man stops at the open doorway into her trailer.

"How did you keep that asshole in line?" Brill nearly shouts at the man who Betty had seen on TV go down, gunshot wound to the stomach, on the last Blake's 7 episode ever.

  1. I'd come to give this wedding invitation to Betty here for Inquirer and the Doctor's wedding....and it all almost falls apart!! Brill sighs before the situation calms, somewhat.
