Crashed Spaceship

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17665

Scott watches as the helicopter flies off into the distance. Scott hefts the gun and looks around. To the north are huge thick trees. A small breeze rattles branches near the tips. To the left is a patch of nearly black ground studded with rocks of all shapes, sizes and colors. To the right is another rocky patch. Straight ahead, the ground slopes down. It's steep, but not too steep that Scott can't walk it comfortably. A sort of path goes down that way, a long, wide (really wide!) clearing surrounded by the same kind of huge trees to the north. Scott couldn't see where the 'path' ended, as it curved to the right.
Scott knew he couldn't stay here, so he decided to follow the wide path.

Scott had been walking for ten minutes, but still no sign of the end. Scott wondered about this path. It didn't seem natural. Somehow. Was it man-made? What kind of man-made path is allowed to grow over?
The path straightened out. Scott streched his arms and looked straight ahead. The forest ended in a grassy plain that streched to the horizon.
Grassy hills streched straight ahead. Scott looked again. The earth was level except for these two humps. Which, though high, ran parralel to each other. And were exactly as wide as the grassy path. Scott knew something was up. He re-checked the gun and went straight down the new path inbetween the large earthen walls.

Two miles later, Scott looked at the ass-end of a starship. Yup. As in Star Trek. Scott was hundreds of yards away but he recognized the behind view. This was Voyager! Crap on a stick! This mean Scott was never even on earth!
Scott pondered how he could be encountering an actual Starfleet ship when he watched Star Trek on television. He concluded this was no weirder then what had gone on before. In fact, it might be nice. If he could join the crew, he would have protection from all the goofy stuff that seemed to happen to him.

  1. Scott finds a dead Borg drone.
