There are many things to do in the afterlife

Death wasn't what Fred expected. He thought there would be one area for good people and another area for bad. But there wasn't, really. Everyone was just thrown together.
Sometimes a few of the bad people tried to start trouble but the Angels put a stop to it right away. And really, what could you do to someone who was already dead? Kill them some more?
But of course, even the afterlife had conflict. Otherwise what would be the point of writing this episode?
What manner of conflict arises to involve Fred?

  1. Some of the bad people have found a section of the afterlife that the angels never come to.
  2. Death, the ruler of the Afterlife, has become corrupt.
  3. Mutiny by the Angels to overthrow Death.
  4. Mind-rattling boredom. Fred's already done everything after a billion years.
