Assaulting Kobolds

"HA HA HA" boomed Lava Man. "There is much fighting to follow."

"Let's hurry." said Fred. "The sooner we slay Minestus, the better."

"I like your attitude!" Lava Man laughed uproariously. "Slay Minestus, ho, that's rich."

Fred stared at Lava Man. "Why such scorn?"

Lava Man explained. "Minestus is one of the Greater Dragons of Flame. Meaning, he's the pure essence of fire itself. Kinda like me, heh heh! Well, anyway, just like it's impossible for him to kill me, it's impossible for me to kill him!"

"Rough." Fred said. "I guess I'll have to face him alone."

"No, sir Knight!" someone said. A boy leapt out of the shadows, with short cropped brown hair, and sound leather armaments with the seal of Allaria upon them. "My name is Winter. And I'm a Water Mage. The king sent me to back you up in case of trouble."

"BASTARD!" Lava Man shouted. "You and your powers - you're not even a man!"

"Why, you wanna fight?" Winter demanded.

"Foppish bitch!" Lava Man claimed. "Take that!"

He shot a Lava Blast at Winter right before Fred's unbelieving eyes. Winter seemed badly scorched by the effect of the Blast. What to do?

1. Nothing.
2. Protect the Water Mage from Lava Man's furious attack.
3. Assist the Lava Man in slaying the Water Mage.
