Andrea, The Vixen Spy!

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 17515

Cederick

......She breaks off, and I stifle a startled yelp as her clothes seem to fall in upon themselves. From under the pile of clothes, a vixen emerges.

She winks at us, then lopes out of the room, no doubt to head for the location the scout gave.

Andrea

I almost feel like sighing in a sense that I must do this. While some soldiers had survived the battle (albeit battered and bloody), they weren't of high enough rank to know enough of worth.

Then again....I now have a perfect excuse to feel the wind whip through my fur as I run!!

Anyway, as I run off on my "recon", I hear from some of Sir Rodney's troops (who didn't see me change) passing comments about my figure, of all things!

Seems that they've heard something of demifox about these parts, but my kind are still a rare breed and little in actual knowledge is to be had up in these parts. That or perhaps the old tales of Minestus having done some....touching up on the old demifox "blueprints" are true. Personally, I feel that there is a bit of truth to it, being that I am a bit more buxom (and proportionately wider in hip) than my human sister. Lord knows that that old evil wyrm had done some special things with Demifox Astra (those wide hips and huge bust are indicative of her being quiet a bit more fertile than an ordinary demifox woman). Kind of made Demifox Astra stand out when she met those other demifox females who'd been in their intermediate form (re: 1701)! That and then there was Demifox Fred's coloring stilling only being merely a ruddy coloration on the face....something that should have changed to more fully mimic a fox's pelt on the onset of puberty (or, in my and a few other demifoxes' cases, the lingering, permanent effects of the first transformations into different forms for us special demifox types from Terra Prime).....

Bottom line, Demifox Fred and Demifox Astra stood out enough to the demifoxs who kidnaped them. The kidnappers had noses that were black in coloration. The kidnappers had a snow white areas on their chest, neck, and around the mouth. Demifox Fred (at this point in time) was just ruddy skinned. Demifox Astra was stuck in a humanoid fox form; something that "ordinary" demifoxes, not being neo-lycanthropes, suffered from.

Hmmm....

I had just remembered that little "factiod" about the ordinary demifox of Demifox Fred's not being able to switch forms. So...that would mean those demifoxes were using some type of small illusion spell to appear like> Demifox Astra (i.e. appearing to be humanoid foxes like she appeared to be a humanoid fox)

Just another little facet in that ambush the newest members of the family....

Had been wondering about that.....

Oh well, back to work....

......

Er....that is after I take care of this @#$!*& farm dog who's gotten into it's mind that I'm a barnyard thief!!

Used to love dogs....

Now?

Don't....ask....

Well, while being a Champion doesn't infuse me with extra abilities a demifox....demifoxes of Terra Prime are more than a tad stronger and swifter than mundane foxes (not to mention much more intelligent).....

In this form, I can't do any magic (unlike "Demifox" Synizn's mate, Rosepaw). I can't say the incantations or manage the necessary gestures (the "Demifox" tongue, yes, but not magical phrases).

But....

  1. While Terra Prime demifoxes are no longer lycanthropic in nature, we still have the boons of that condition....
