The young lad explains, in between his crying, that it took him ages to develop the berries that caused the transformation and that, even if he could find a way to perform the reverse changes, the effects of the magic on Fred's body would almost certainly result in a horrible death. Charlie carried on that it changed the body at the most fundamental level, and had a fixing agent to make it last long term and not break down.

The feminized knight was shattered at the realisation that this body was probably his for life. It was almost too much to bear and, with the female hormones coursing through his veins, Fred too was unable to stop himself from bursting into tears.

Fred realised that there was now a very real likelihood that he was going to have to spend the rest of his life as a girl. Acceptance would take more courage than even the bravest knight could possess.

2. Fred determined not to accept his form, and set out to find someone who could help him/her
