"But don't you see, Billy? I had to do it!"

"What?" you ask, realizing you already half-know the answer.

"Because I am your future self," says the Scarecrow sagely. "I am the experssion of your full potential. You were imprisoned along with Scott in the Gallifreyan Matrix because the Time Lords feared what you would become if you tapped your full Chaos Energy powers. Missy and your parents were just part of the Matrix. I controlled the Matrix, and so can you. Free your mind, Billy. You can defeat Scott without the aid of the others. You have the power to do anything you want. You are The One."

"The one what?"

"I can't tell you, not yet. It is not your Destiny. After all, I certainly don't remember me telling you it when I was you."

"Are you sure you remember it correctly? How long ago were you me?"

"Um... Seven thousand years," confessed the Scarecrow. "I guess you could forget a few things in that time. But still, it's not your Destiny!"
