Ingredients

"But beside the Crystallic....I'll have to scour the Realms for some rather.....rare spell ingredients," Zerm sighed, reaching out with the Crystallic to contact the others....>

But it'll be a and brassy-*ss miracle to do it quickly enough for the last part, the Atlantian mage sighed to himself, I say a miracle....for where would we find enough willing.....well....ingredient donors.

Zerm....this particular one...wasn't going to practice any magical procedure that would cause injury or death to the donors. But due to the rather unsavory reputation that Atlantis had garnered after the Antithesis faction had somehow either subsumed the rightful governing council....or eliminated them entirely while this Zerm had been away on a wild archeological expedition to the largest (now vanished) legend in Atlantian mythology....who'd trust him? He'd been amazed and grateful beyond belief that the griffon's he would protect with his life. But besides them, who'd trust him now when they learned who he was (and he made a point of telling....honor demanded nothing less....he felt).

Contact is made, and it goes much...MUCH better than what Zerm had expected.

Indeed, the adventurers had been in the process of trying to contact him.

Even more amazing was when he learned of the makeup of the family and friends that the adventurers had!

Later...on the reality where Zerm resided and protected the race of the griffon.

"And how many can brag about knowing of mated set of unicorns, a mated set of kitsune, and two sets of Light Elves in the same room?" Zerm whispered softly, totally drained from the process.

Nothing could be done to undo with the pixie and the Light elves known as the Doctor and Rowena. Even Zerm had limits! Not even Oberon could undo the transformation from mortal to Fey, once it was completed (it could perhaps be be stopped cold by death dealt by mere mortals.....definitely by death delivered by one's such as Oberon before it was complete....but that was a different story).

The pixie had recovered somewhat, now, from the final rush of transformation, and was being consoled by his new "brothers" and "sisters" (Zerm felt a stab of envy at thee adventurers having such as that....he'd not had such as that for longer than he'd care contemplate).

The elves known as Rowena and the Doctor were still getting over the shock of what this newest twist in their transformation meant....when not only did King Oberon and the Queen of the Light Elves show up (remember....she'd have been summoned by the transformation of the former Time Lords....but as per usual...she was just being fashionably late).

1. "Greetings....Queen....Titania......," Zerm whispered in Fey speak, beginning to rise and bow....only to faint dead away as the last of his strength vanishes.
