Lovers' Disputes

When Fred awakes, she is gone. This surprises him. He looks around, but sure enough, she is missing. He checks for the fruit, but that is gone too. He sneaks around the loft of the barn and finally finds a ladder going down. After checking to make sure no one is around, he climbs down. It is a large barn. He walks to othe other end and peers out. Outside he sees a cattle coral of about thirty cows milling about. Outside the coral around the corner where the other cows can't see Elizabeth and another girl, whom Fred assumes to be Candice are milking cows. There is a man with them in tall black boots and carrying a riding crop. He speaks to Lizzy.

"Ah! My dear! It is good to see you working this morning. There is so much for you to do, and sometimes I think you are too lazy to do it!"

"I work hard!" protests Lizzy.

"You also have too large a mouth for your own good--though I suppose other parts of you tend to compensate." He pushes Lizzy's clothing off her shoulders, reaches down with one hand and begins to feel her large breasts.

While he isn't looking, Candice spits in the milk from her cow.

"Ah!," says the man, "give me some milk!" He squeezes producing a spot on Lizzy's shirt. She reaches up, but the man strikes her hands with the riding crop. Immediately, she returns to milking.

Fred has seen enough of this and rushes back to get his sword. He returns, but the man is by now gone. After hiding his sword once more, he goes to outside.

"I will slay that man!" he declares in a low rumble.

"It isn't bad," explains Lizzy. "He can be worse. It's not at all like when you hold me."

"I don't know what you mean!" cuts in Candice. "All men are vile."

"Fred's not like that. Fred's nice," says Lizzy. "Show her Fred."

1. Fred says he ought to wait until after nightfall.
2. Fred shows Candice.
