What a difference ten minutes can make!

She suddenly found herself pouring out the whole story to the Doctor, begging him for advice.

The Doctor and the others listen as she winds down. Some look shocked. The Doctor looks sympathetic and even as though he's got an answer to this problem.

Ten minutes. Amazing what that short of time can do to a problem. If the Doctor had been able to neutralize that android some other way (re: 11273), then the guy might have gotten the call from HQ telling of the cancellation of that arrest order (re: 17312).

Instead, we have the making of a large....er....misunderstanding!

"If that is true then we may have deeper problems than mere illegal immigration!" a familiar sounding male voice says behind them all.

All turn to see that the android had somehow not only tracked them down, but managed to get into the very room to overhear this confession! The look on the androids face as he looks at Stacy somehow gave them the impression that.....he believed her story about being an alien insinuated inside a human seeming body....which will play merry hell with the Three Laws of Robotics here.

Having scanned Stacy deeper than what he'd usually do with his sensors normally, Daneel can only see it's nothing but true what Stacy said she was. As such, this alien invasion of Earth could well be just a beginning for a broader attack to the Outerworlds as well! Indeed, this seems to dovetail with the chatter he's getting from Spacetown! Better get this situation under control here ASAP and then....see if he can radio in this new information or whatever!

"Partner Elijah Baley and all available units," the android seems to say to himself, "Officer requires assistance immediately at these coordinates!"

Remorseful or not, it was up to human authorities and not him to decide what next to do with this alien! The androids duty was clear to him.

The raygun that's in his hands looks real enough....and as such nobody is going to make any funny moves, yet.

He seems rather deaf to reasoning, that's for sure. Apparently some kind of protocol is in affect making any orders and such from the other human beings here just as effective in swaying this android as Stacy had been just before when the Doctor had rescued here (re: 10867) That is, until...

"Daneel, what in the hell is going on?" a man with identical looking raygun shouts, coming in at a run.

"Daneel?" both Bettys blink, looking at each other, "As in R. Daneel of....."

"The Caves of Steel," a woman interrupts, finishing the sentence for them.

The Doctor and the others then stare at not only this oddly dressed woman (Since when did the star from Aliens dress up as a female Middle Age forester)....but their....twins? And what the ##&*# are two Leelas doing here?!

"It appears we may have an alien invasion in the offing," Daneel says calmly, begining to explain, "This appears to be part of a wider operation! Indeed, as we speak there is talk of an alien ship calling itself the Defiant over Solaria!

"Though the general consensus is that it's actually a sneak attack by Earth!" the human form robot adds, sounding worried, "We've got to inform Spacetown of this before a war can break out needlessly!"

1. "The distraction could well prove fatal!" Daneel added emphatically.
