It seemed another fairly ordinary day for Eruno, the crime boss who ruled the shadow city of Guntero. Guntero was a city on the coast of Hespan ruled by a coalition of Hespanian criminal organizations, whose only purpose was illegal activity, modeled after the infamous MalBonctonian city of Walants. Such Walants-style marketplaces (called Wal-Marts for short) were actually becoming fairly common these days. After plotting the deaths of his three greatest enemies, who were all within the city at the moment, he walked out to the huge window overlooking the bay in his palatial estate, hoping to catch a glimpse of the lovely sunrise.
What he saw, however, was a huge eldritch tidal wave, flowing with blood, which crashed down on him and the entire city of Guntero, crushing them instantly.
