The Never Ending Quest - Episode 16440

Fred was amazed and confused by all that had happened. He had come to kill the terrible and awful Dragon, and he did! But the horror did not stop there. He had to kill the terrible Barney-thing as well, which he did! But he couldn't leave well enough alone, he had to make sure that the Barney-thing was truly dead, and so he lept into the open hole of sulpher and magma.

"There was a cursed boy with me, he looked like a dog," continued explaining Fred to the 13-year-old Lord of Light. "In that no-good Pit a monster raised its head ...and arms and claws... and killed that boy. I buried him there, and that's when your servant found me."

"Very interesting, Fred," said the Lord of Light. "But you still have not told me what you want."

"I want to get out of this wicked place. I want to leave this confusing world and return to my home."

"Ah," said the Lord of Light. "If that is what you want, that is what you shall get. But first you must do me a favor."

"What is it?" asked Fred.

  1. "You must accompany this fawn, Eloin, to her home across the creek and through the woods, over the dale and under the mountain."
  2. "You must find the Wicked Witches of the Seventh Circle and kill the one-legged Sister. My servant, this fawn, will show you the way."
  3. "You must go deeper into this mountain world until you come to the White Tunnels. There you must search for the tomb of a mumified Lady. Within her burial chamber is a crow made of metal ... bring it back to me."
