Charlotte had won! She was the President. Campaigning had been hard.
She had entertained the fraternities many times with popular teases. She
had pleaded with everyone. At first no one took her seriously. In the
last couple weeks, people began to take her as a serious candidate. In
the last week of the campaign she debated Judy. Although Judy may have
known parts of the issues better, Charlotte had won over a lot of people
with her sincerity. Her friends had really backed her up too, making all
types of posters and handing out buttons. It did not hurt that they
gathered the fraternity vote the day of the election with tactics Judy
called "loathesome." Charlotte liked that word. She
was "loathesome." The day came when Judy had to strip and run about the campus. It was the best day in her whole life. She got to see her positively humiliated, especially when the police arrested her for public nudity. That was the best. Now Charlotte had to determine what to do as a president.
