The Price of Victory

”How much?” asks Fred.

Belboz smiles and writes a figure on a piece of paper. Fred takes one look and his eyes widen in shock. Fred can only afford to pay Belboz if he cashes in his 401k and dips into his kids’ college fund!

It is a tough decision. Fred could kill the Dragon here and now by sacrificing his financial security, or he could pinch pennies and take an alternate route. He thinks for a moment, and finally says to Belboz:

1. “Alright, I’ll pay.”
2. “Uh, do you have something for a budget-minded adventurer?”
