"What else can you do?" Belboz asked excitedly. The Troll looked at him
uncertainly and then scratched his butt. That's what trolls do when
they're thinking you see. After a long pause the Troll snapped his fingers
and smiled broadly at Belboz and Fred. While his cracked, yellow teeth
were not the most pleasant sight to look upon, it was still a very
encouraging thing and Fred and Belboz waited expectantly to see what the
Troll would do next.
Pulling three multi-colored balls out of someplace you'd rather not want to know (the Troll wasn't wearing any clothing so he obviously didn't have any pockets) the Troll treated them to a spectacular display of juggling. While quite entertaining, this was not what Fred nor Belboz had in mind. When he had finished, the Troll put the balls away and then told them, "And if you think that was good, just wait until you see what I can do with a sledgehammer and a watermelon." Fred for one had no desire to find out just where the Troll kept his sledgehammer and so he quickly gave the Troll his compliments and then moved back to the cave wall from which the stream of fire had been so recently ejected. Now while it may seem ridiculous that Fred would have rather risked becoming a human torch than watch the Troll have a little watermelon fun, you must keep in mind just where the Troll kept that watermelon stashed. So, as I was saying, Fred walked up to the wall and began to examine it. And to his surprise he found that his hand disappeared into its rocky surface as if the wall was nothing more than a strikingly realistic illusion. And of course that was exactly what it was.
