Taking a chance.

Selania weighs her options, and doesn't like what she sees. Merkotos was obviously a powerful magic user, judging what he had already done to her. His "familiar" seemed sincere enough, if she was any judge in the matter (a questionable position at best). He could be trying to trick her, but what is the point? Merkotos has her in his power, already, why fool her? Dreven seemed to be frightened of her and compelled to obey her, even though he KNEW that she wasn't the original Selania. Selania put it down as something like a genetic compulsion of her....new race. She would come back to this latter and explore it......maybe, but right now.......

"Dreven, I believe that you will carry out your plan." Selania stated simply. "And get up, please. I'm not used to being bowed to." "Why, it's your.....birthright, Lady.....Selania." Dreven stated as he rose. "Even to one who.....hadn't been born Royal.....I must!" Selania nods at that, and then curls up tail to snout, and mimics sleeping. Dreven nods, satified with Selania's acting.

"I'll be back." Deveron states simply.

"Watch out for the Terminator." Selania mutters quietely to herself as Dreven leaves. Dreven pauses at those strange words, but files the question for latter.

Selania, soon senses Merkotos walk up to her, nod, and leave again. She then hears Merkotos give off a gurgling scream and a hoarse shout of pain from Dreven! Selania jumps up and scampers into the next room to see.....
