An Advantage to being Invisible?

"Going back to the pool and fully immersing ourselves in it sounds like a good plan," Fred said. "If we are to kill the dragon, then being invisible must be a big help." "I'm not so sure," Exotica responded. "If the pool's magic is the dragon's doing, as we must assume, then why would he provide something that is to our advantage? Perhaps his magic would enable him to see us anyway? Still, I suppose it's worth a try. At least if I'm invisible, it won't matter that I'm naked."

So they went back the hundred yards to the pool. When they got there, they discovered:

  1. The lava had made the pool boiling hot, so there was no way they could go into it.
  2. Where the pool had once been, there was just an expanse of cooling lava.
  3. Perhaps due to the magical quality of the water, the lava seemed to have had minimal effect, and they were able to wholly immerse themselves in the pool.
