"How do I know that you are really a member of the assassin's guild?"
Astra asked
suspiciously. The man moved to take something out of his pocket. "Remember
that,
if you bring out a weapon, I can cut your throat before you get the chance
to use it,"
Astra warned him. But the man brought out a silver medallion with the
crest and motto
of the assassin's guild on it.
"You could have killed an assassin and stolen his medallion," Astra said. "What! Nobody kills an assassin. They know it makes them a priority target for every member of the guild." "But why did you have a club? That's not the weapon of choice if you want to kill someone."
