Astra went home

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14943

Astra decided that going home was the better course of valor. She admired Fred and Velus but did not want to get caught up in political battles.
However, she needed clothes and a horse first.
So she stayed with the group until they reached the first village.
Fred gave her some of the coins he had discreetly swiped from the dragon's hoard and she bought a powerful suit of battle togs and a huge battle horse named Stinky.
Stinky took a shine to her right away. He was six feet tall, longer then normal and the color of beach sand with a few exceptions. He had black 'socks' and his mane was the color of tree bark.
Stinky and Astra traveled for several days until they reached the border to her homeland.

  1. She was refused entry. The old queen had vanished and the new queen, Astra's cousin, had banished her.
  2. She was welcomed as a hero.
  3. The border crossing was in shambles and the only evidence of the gaurds was an eyeball and the tip of a pinky.
  4. Fred and Velus were waiting for her. Seems Cederik was a pretty evil bastard.
