the Pips

"Yeah," said Fred. "You're probably right... let's catch one."

"I don't know... they look pissed."

"What..." teased Fred. "Is the valiant Toby afraid?"

"No! It's just that... well... look at them! Six tiny little creatures that resemble Sir Don Knotts on a bad day! I don't wanna touch them."

Fred laughed and lunged at the homunculous at the edge of the left side of the grand piano. The creature lept three feet straight up and spit at Fred! Fred tried again... and again... and again. He couldn't catch a one, and all the while they were leaping and brinking on the keys of the piano, the wires pulling and dropping hammers on the mighty stalagmites and stalactites growing throughout this particular cavern.

"What are you guys?!!?" yelled Fred in frustration.

They stopped and stared at Fred.

"Uh-oh," gasped Sir Toby.

They stared at Toby.

Then they began to sing: "We are the lollipop pips, the lollipop pips, the lollipop pips; we are the LOLLIPAWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWP pips, and we love to drive you all very mad! THTHPPPPTH!!!!"

Fred and Toby knew right then they had to leave, and quick.

1. Fred and Toby run out of the cavern and hope the pips don't follow.
2. Suddenly, with a 'pop' one of the wires breaks and the accompanying hammer falls and hits Fred in the temple causing sever pain and possible long term problems.
