Fred Wants to Experience Smithereens for Himself

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14303

Fred's brain was almost overloaded by the thought of beautiful women and rivers of fine ale. The candy he wasn't too bothered about. He forgot all about his quest to slay the dragon and asked the Wizard to blow him to Smithereens instead. The Wizard hid a knowing grin. So easily read, these Knights, he thought. He nodded and merely said, "Very well." He chanted a few words and Fred disappeared. Velus barked and whined. "Don't worry, doggie, I hadn't forgotten you," the Wizard said. He repeated the chant and Velus was blown to the same place as Fred.

Did the Wizard do as promised? Or did he accidently or deliberately send them elsewhere? Only you, dear reader, can tell...

  1. They were blown to Smithereens. The Wizard had done as promised.
  2. They were blown to Peices. A land bordering Smithereens, where the women weren't quite as pretty, nor the ale as fine.
  3. They were blown to Fragments. A bleak and windswept land, with no women or ale.
