Dreams in the night

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 14295

At midnight Louise awoke. She had had bad dreams; something about men made of candle wax chasing a cheese vendor, and other disturbing images. She slipped out of bed not wanting to bother Thelma, and quietly tiptoed to the window. She pulled the drape aside and stared down into the courtyard. She saw barely anything in the darkness, but there was movement below. She couldn't tell what, exactly, but someone or something was down there. She stood maybe a minute or two when suddenly a hand came from behind and clamped over her mouth!

When the dawn arrived Thelma rose from the bed and yawned. she turned to wake her sister only to find the bed empty. Maybe Louise had left earlier to get a bite to eat, or maybe a jog, thought Thelma. She dressed quickly though, just in case. Once ready she walked to Sigourney's room and knocked. There was no answer. She tried the door and it opened with ease. Inside was a made bed and no sister. Thelma began to feel very wierd about this, she rushed to the dining area hoping to find her sisters, and when she ran through the entryway, she sighed in relief.

"There you two are!" yelled Thelma.

Her sisters looked up from their breakfast of fruits and yogurt. They smiled and giggled at each other. "Where else were you expecting to find us?" asked Sigourney. "Yeah," laughed Louise. "You weren't afraid we ran off did you?"

"You two just keep on laughing," smirked Thelma. She sat down at the table and filled her plate with some apricots and apples, and a small serving of yogurt. "How did you sleep?" she asked her sisters.

"Great!" answered Sigourney. "Like a baby."

"Me too," said Louise. "Only I had the strangest dream. I was watching a bunch of candles chase a cheese maker and then the sky turned purple! The cheese maker disappeared but the men made of candles ran to me and gave me a quirky message: 'Don't eat the cheese.'"

"Wow," said the other sisters in unison. "That is wierd."

  1. Vampire hosts, midnight dreams, and lost memories! And is there really something wrong with the cheese?
  2. What exactly happened to Louise last night? Is the girl at the breakfast table really Louise or some facsimile thereof?
  3. Who is this Count Yorga? Why is he so kind...or is it all an act underlying some nefarious plan?
