Velus dies

Fredwynna could hardly believe what she had just done. Velus lay on the
ground flames jumping up from his dead body. "Why did I do that?" she
thought to herself, oddly not feeling any sorrow. "I could have ran and
waited for someone to explain what's going on to Velus". . . A horrifying
thought suddenly hit her, "What if the witch gave me a dragon mind as well
as body?" She looked around. Link and Zelda were backing into a corner,
eyes fixed on her and jaws open wide. The witch was laughing evilly in the
other corner. Fredwynna was also feeling hungry, and Velus was starting to
look rather tasty. . .
