"Oh, I should be perfectly all right," answered Belboz. "You see, that
Belboz is me and is not me."
"Yeah," piped in Uxton. "It's not like they're connected at the hip!" "Uh, right," said Queen Jastina. And so preparations were made for Belboz to cast a spell that would kill Belboz. Though the whole of Caemlyn was in turmoil and the kinghts of King Embron were verily a-frightened, there were a few brave men willing to give aid. Finally the instruments of magick were brought into the King's chamber and made ready. A human circle was formed which included the King and his Queen, Joan/Fred, Uxton, and few brave knights rounded up from the castle square. Belboz stood in the center of the circle while the living Spirit of Ecstacy floated above and to the left. "Here we go boys and girls," chuckled Belboz. And with that there was a wave of hand and a swirl of staff, a brazier was lit and flames rose high, Belboz chanted and swayed and mumbled and grumbled, and then... "Ack!" he gurgled. "Ooooock!" "Spwthw!" "Erk!" Belboz's body seemed wracked in pain and he danced about as if an invisible force was choking the life out of him. "Errrrp!" "Eeeeeek" "That doesn't look too good," whispered the King. "Haaarrrrrp" "Spleewthouw!" "Hey," whispered the Queen, "is it my imagination or is Belboz's skin turning blue?" "Grargh" "Sloof!" Suddenly Belboz fell to the floor. He wasn't breathing. He was dead! "Well I'll be!" whispered Joan/Fred. "This is horrible!" cried out one of the brave knights. "Will someone please put a curtain on that window," growled the King. "I can't concentrate with so much light coming in--" Everyone turned to the window, light was streaming in, sun light! "Well I'll be," whistled Fred/Joan. "It worked," cried out the Queen. He saved us, even if he couldn't save himself!" "Maybe they were connected at the hip," whispered Uxton as he stared at the corpse of Belboz.
