A Strange Love

Fred pauses. In the back of his mind he knows he doesn't love her. He explores the thought. He is sure he doesn't, yet he knows he does. Could this be a spell? But loving this beautiful woman is fun. He kisses her neck. Yes, this is fun. Then he catches sight of the dog. It appears to be smiling playfully at him.
