Three Wishes

"Surely no. I cannot."

"Indeed, sire, whatever you desire. I am serious. I will give you three wishes."

Fred grins. "Can I wish for more wishes?"

"No."

"Your life in service to me."

"No!!"

"A night of wild romance."

"No! I mean real wishes!"

"A kiss?"

Amy stands on her tiptoes and kisses Fred on the cheek very lightly. "Two wishes."

1. Fred saves his last two wishes, but coincidentally they meet years later when . . .
2. Fred wishes to know what he can wish for.
3. Fred gives Amy three wishes in return.
