attention wherever they went. It was only reasonable - three identical,
gorgeous women in pink silk dresses were bound to turn a few heads - but it
was starting to make them nervous. "Maybe," Louise said, "We should leave the city." "You're right," Sigourney said. "This is a dangerous place. And that creep may decide to send out his goons after us any minute." "Let's head for the country," Thelma said. "We can hole up out there somewhere until we decide what to do next." So the three of them stopped by a tailor's, who was more than happy to exchange a few simple garments and some provisions for the three fine silk dresses. Now attired in matching cotton blouses and skirts, the women set off out the city gates and headed into the forested countryside.
