Francois arched her back, then puckered her lucious lips and pouted for the camera. Jake kept snapping away, directing her into a variety of poses designed to show off not only her fabulous body, but the lingerie as well.

The Bel Aire Boudior "Mighty Passion" red teddy was the last scheduled shot of the day, and it was going as well as the rest of them. Say what you want about her, Jake thought as Francois leaned forward and smiled enticingly, She's a hell of a great model! Indeed, since Bel Aire Boudiour Intimate Apparel had hired Francois Lescoines as their primary model and catalog cover girl, sales had almost quadrupled in just a year. Plus, Francois was now a supermodel, on the same level as Claudia or Tyra, and one of the most downloaded women on the net.

Finally, the session ended. Jake congratulated the crew for a job well done, and rushed after Francois.

"Listen, Frannie," he said, "I've got tickets to that concert you've been wanting to see - good ones, too. What are the chances I could persuade you to give me another shot?"

Francois smiled contemptuously. "About the same as pigs flying! I keep telling you we're done, Jake. Just let it alone!" Jake looked crestfallen as she headed back to her dressing room. At the door, she turned back to him and, flipping her long red curls our of her face, she said, "In any case, the lead singer called me up and gave me a backstage pass - all access!" She blew the despondant photographer a kiss and closed the door.

Sorry Jakie Francois thought as she shucked the lingerie (which she always get to keep, complements of Bel Aire Boudior) and began to dress in a silk blouse and jeans, You had your shot, and you blew it! She finished dressing and went to retieve her purse. As she picked it up, she noticed a small envelope tucked beneath it. Her name was typed on the front.

Curious, Francois picked it up and opened it. Inside was a slip of paper on which was written the single sentence:

1. "You're Fired."
2. "I love you - and soon, you'll love me, too."
3. "Congratulations, they accepted your offer."
4. "I know your secret."
