However much Fred didn't like it, it seemed like there would be no other
choice. He didn't want to sell his horse, and he really needed armor and
weapons. So he decided to go to the nearest town to steal someone's armor
and weapons. Cautiously, Fred rode back to the town that he had set out from. He had to be very careful that no one saw him, as a major lord trying to steal something in women's clothes would raise questions, to say the least. Tying his horse to a tree, he snuck into the town. He tried to keep to the shadows, as he definitely didn't want to be seen in women's clothing.
