The Royal Sisters

"Hi," one said. "I guess we'll be sharing the room with you."

"Pleased to meet you," said the other. "I'm Emma Royal, and this, obviously, is my sister, Justine."

"Hannah Fredrics. Glad to meet you."

"Hi, Belinda Boswell."

The four girls set about unpacking and swapping stories. Emma was set on getting her law degree, and someday entering politics. Justine wanted to pursue a career in finance. Belinda allowed that maybe physics was a better choice than chemistry. Hannah said that she was in no rush to make her mind this year. All agreed that they were extremely lucky to get into St. Tobias.

As the semester progressed satisfactorily. Hannah had joined the Women's basketball and lacrosse teams, while Justine was now on the cheerleading squad. Emma had been elected freshman rep to the University Student council, and Belinda had actually won an argument with Professor Uxton in Physics 101 - something apparently unheard of. Everyone in 205 was happy - except for one thing:

1. The girls in 206 really creeped them out - especially Elaine, the short, dumpy, oily-looking one.
2. The dreams. They all kept having the same dream every few nights.
3. It's awfully hard to find a boyfriend at an all-girl's college.
4. Each of them had a secret - a very odd secret.
