Fred continued to be bewildered by the nonsensical things he - she - was saying as soon as they were out of his - her mouth, but they felt the most natural thing in the world in the moment. Belboz blinked, looking surprised, but his expression smoothed over presently, and he said, "Why Hannah, I think I would be delighted. Probably for the best that you wed someone who knows what you once were - less complicated that way, eh?" Hannah nodded agreeably, even as she found herself somewhat unbalanced by what he had said - wasn't this all wrong? Her head felt stuffed with cotton... "Stop trying to think so much, silly. There's a good girl." As he spoke, Hannah found his voice soothing her, chasing her worries away, and she smiled a vacant smile. What was there to be concerned about, anyway? He was very powerful, and could take care of her. What more was a young girl to want? The wedding would be a quick one, taking place that very evening. Rather against tradition, Belboz dressed her himself, and with a flick of his wrist, Hannah became ethereally beautiful, her pure white dress ballooning outwards, her corset pushing up her generous assets, her long golden hair full of silver flowers, her veil floating behind her. She suddenly realized she was crying, though she wasn't sure why. Probably because she was so happy. Right?
