The Never Ending Quest - Episode 1360

The one who claimed to be the future Fred vanished and Lord Fred couldn't
help but notice that it seemed to transform itself into an anthropomorphic
fox! Fred stood in the cavern and shook his head. The events of the last
few days were incredible, amazing, unbelievable! Yet the words of the
last few minutes were more so than all the rest.
~~Worldwide plague, disappearing men, Grand Wyrms and dragonbane, insanity!!!~~ thought Lord Fred to himself. ~~Well I'm not going to wait here for my cousin Willian because some stranger who seemed to be more warlock than man said so! He did say that the lair of the Grand Wyrm was down this passage, but for all I know that was a lie as well.~~ Fred began to move down the passage and it grew dark within. He edged his way in the darkness. His feet crunched the rocks beneath his feet, his fingers scraped against the earthen walls. The path twisted its way about and Fred discovered it was not a simple passage, but it held many branching corridors. He turned left here, right there, and traversed the tunnels looking for some sign of a dragon and all the while he wondered at the words of the strange man who claimed to be him. Unfortunately for Fred his ponderings distracted him so that he didn't notice the physical changes in the tunnel. Before he knew what was happening, the ground beneath his feet fell out from under him. By the time he recovered from his fall he saw that he was in a cavern full of rubble. He looked up and about and noticed a wooden post. Attached to it was a board with a sign:
