Fred loses interest in the following weeks, which is fine for Charlotte.
She doesn't even notice since she has plenty of other men in her life.
She has a tremendous personality to go with a knockout body. Now that she
has gotten away from her parents, she's backed off schoolwork to try other
things. She dresses and plays the part of the popular girl. It's
enjoyable for her because everyone lets her have her way. Early one morning, while walking back to her apartment, she sees a poster that says "ELECT JUDY TRUMBALL, FRESHMAN CLASS PRESIDENT." Charlotte hates Judy. She is a snob wrapped in snobpaper. As she is looking at the poster, Judy shows up beside her. "Looks like a landslide vote for me," brags Judy. "I could beat you sooo easily." Charlotte is surprised at the words that have emerged from her own mouth. "Oh yeah? Wanna bet on it?" "Yeah!" "Ok then," says Judy, "loser has to jog naked around campus. Deal?"
