Seeing no reason not to tell Astra about his dream (for all that he still
did
not altogether trust her), Fred did so. When he had finished,
she frowned. "I'm worried about you, Fred," she said. "First the amnesia,
and now
this strange dream. I hope you are not under some enchantment." "I'm sure
I'm not. I
just hope the dream wasn't some sort of augery. Anyway, let us change the
subject, as it's
not a very pleasant one.
I'm glad to see that you are looking much better this morning." "Yes, I
feel fine now,
thank you. Our race is pretty tough. So what do we do now?" "Having
breakfast
would be a good start, I think. I'm hungry.
Do I smell frying mushrooms?" "Yes, I found them growing nearby." "After
breakfast, we will
have to try to find out where we are. I don't recognise this area at all,
which is odd,
as I can't see how we can be very far from the Southern Caves. Unless
magic was
involved." "My thoughts are the same as yours."
