Betty 1 and Ragan 1 come out....and see the staring people in front of them.....
Bad enough, especially when Betty....still not quiet getting over the shock of seeing a TARDIS (for she recognized it for what it was).
"Oh my God, it's the TARDIS!" Betty finally manages happily, despite the weirdness of recent events.
"Betty....Ragan, I've got to be going back to Terra Prime to help my brother with the Chameleon.....circuit....." the Doctor begins, coming out from behind Betty 1 and Ragan 1....and finally notes the others.
And yet more fun -- if rather bewildering -- complexities! he sighs to himself, wondering if there was something to the idea of reincarnation.....and if he'd done something utterly vile in a prior life to warrant something like this insanity that keeps coming up!
"Geez, that's *three* Bettys in one room now." Ragan 1 muttered to herself, running a hand unconsciously through her shoulder length red hair, "Talk about meeting yourself coming and going!"
"What's....going on here?" Mulder asks before anyone else can speak, "How did that...that box get in here?!"
Betty 1 and Ragan 1 (Who'll well call Ragan for now for convenience), look at each other as this scene plays out in a similar manner that they went through themselves.
"It's the TARDIS," Betty said.
"The what?" asked Stacy, less well informed than Betty on classic SF series on TV. "The TARDIS," repeated Betty, "Or more correctly, a TARDIS - Time And Relative Dimensions In Space. In other words, a time machine. And this one is piloted by none other than the Doctor himself."
Stacy and Mulder looked at her as if she was insane, but Betty didn't care. She was too elated at the thought of meeting the Doctor. That, and thoughts about suddenly meeting....er.... herself have suddenly slipped her mind!
"The Time Lord from the TV show Doctor Who!" Scully whispers, suddenly finding herself getting caught up in the excitement of the situation! "I loved watching you as a kid!"
The last is delivered in a delighted voice.
Scully then blinked, and gathered herself......but couldn't for the life of here stop smiling.
"Uh, Scully?" Mulder asks softly, leaning over to her, "Mind telling me what you know? Could help here."
Mulder hadn't seen the TV show when it was out, and thus had no idea what this was all about. Talk about time machines and such.....well, there were things that even ol' "Spooky" Mulder isn't going to swallow whole easily!
