The Book of Growth Spells

Belboz explained that about two hundred years ago the dragon sacked the Library of Saltpan. The Library of Saltpan was not up to the standards of the Great Library of Allaria, or the Monestary of the Celestial Mountain, or even the disreputable collection of the Schola at Droopy Branch. However, a library it was, and the dragon sacked it. Lost were a limited collection of weakly plotted romances, cookbooks,topical religious and political controversy, do-it- yourself manuals on hovel and cart repair, and other emphemal items. However, in that collection was the 'Encyclopedia of Growth Spells,' by Fornax the Strange, and it was the seminal work in its field.

Belboz observed that the dragon probably did not know what he had. He just piled them up in his hoard of treasure, happy enough to possess it without knowing its true value. And as a necromancer, he had to make do with whatever body parts came along. If he could get the book of growth spells, he could make the parts fit much better.
