The Imprisoned Man

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 13172

Astra's mutterings of "I hate pink! It's a 'girlie' colour. Why couldn't the dress have been blue?" died away when they emerged into the clearing and saw the imprisoned man. A river ran through the centre of the clearing. A strong rope had been tied between two trees, one on either side of the river. A cage hung from the rope, and was positioned so that it was some six feet above the water. Inside the cage was an exhausted-looking man, dressed in rags.

While they worked out how they could get the man down without drowning him in the process, Fred asked him: "Who imprisoned you?"

  1. The man replied: "The dragon."
  2. The man replied: "Bandits."
  3. The man opened his mouth and pointed inside it. They saw that his tongue had been cut out.
