"You Chex, are looking for several things." Scott says in a tone he's heard
history teachers use. The tone is dull, almost hypnotic. Chem seems
hynotyzed by this!
"You are looking for a way to fly, since you have wings. Have you noticed how every time you flick a fly that bites you, it flies off. Well, it flies off because of the magic in your tail, filly! There is a weight reduction aspect in there that, if you flick yourself--now that your wings are fully developed--you should be able to fly. Your sire--Xap wasn't it--kept trying to get you together with a freind of his. You kept on turning him down, before you even met the guy. You believed that the friend was just another winged monster--yeah, I know YOU are a winged monster--but this guy turns out to be a winged centaur. Name of Chiron. Nice enough guy, from what I've read, and the only male winged centaur on the block...... You were a little hasty there, Chex!" It is VERY hard to put a centaur out of sorts, but Scott.....has managed to do this to Chex. The sputtering is a pretty good clue. "Oh, before you think that this is the end all of your....'quest', think again!" Scott says with a smile. "Piers wrote 'Vale of the Vole' as something as a journey of self discovery for the main characters!" "Really?" Chex says in a dazed voice. "Now what?"
