The Fire's Warmth

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 13032

Lord Fred heard the crackling of the fire and thought to himself that a fire was the perfect place to dry off. He had been soaked by his jump through the waterfall and wanted to do no more hunting of dragons until he was dry and comfortable. Lord Fred decides to go to the fire. The closer he gets to the room with the fire, the warmer Fred feels. In fact, the warmth is almost hot, and Lord Fred has to remove his overcoat to keep from sweating. As Fred comes to the doorway he notices that in the center of the room there is a long table, and on that table is the most delicious spread of food that he has ever seen. It dawns on Fred that he is hungry. There is a fireplace at one end of the room and in front of it a comfortable looking reclining chair. Lord Fred appears to be alone.

  1. Lord Fred, despite his hunger, is too much of gentleman to help himself to someone else's dinner so he decides to go to the reclining chair by the fire to dry off and wait until someone returns to invite him to dinner. Fred drifts off to sleep...
  2. Lord Fred sits down at the table and begins to shovel large amounts of this most delicious cuisine into his mouth. He also samples the wine.
  3. Lord Fred decides there is no time to waste and fills his pockets with bread and apples before continuing down the dimly lit corridor on the other side of the room.
