Fred Floats Down

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12979

Fred floats down for an immesurable period of time. Two minutes or two millienia, he couldn't tell.
He landed with a soft thump on a rope bridge. To the left was a small cliff face. The bridge led to a tunnel that vanished inside. To the right was an open field. The bridge ended about fifty feet into it because of the field's slope.
Fred decided to head to the field. As he stepped off into the grass the purple void above him became sky. It was about noon. A brisk wind blew, ruffling the grass. To the east was a large river that swept down into the canyon that the rope bridge behind him crossed. To the west the canyon petered out, joining with a large array of hills about a mile away. To the north was an arrangement of several well-maintained roads, an Inn, a castle set on a bluff and a bizarre building Fred could not make heads or tails of.

  1. Head to the river.
  2. Head for the hills.
  3. Go to the inn.
  4. Investigate the strange building.
  5. Cross the rope bridge to the tunnel.
  6. Fred finds a crossbow on the ground. It has diamond tipped shafts. It is also flourescent pink. Nearby he finds a stuffed bunny.
