High above the Mediterranean Sea, a small bird beat its tired wings
furiously. It had flown a long way, longer than it knew how to measure.
It did not know how much further it would fly. It did not know where it
was flying to. It knew only one thing. It must keep going.
Well, maybe it knew two things. It had to bring the Coconut. It didn't know where it had gotten the Coconut, since such things were not indigenous to its homeland in Kenya, nor did it understand the significance of said Coconut. It only knew that to drop the heavy object, though it might ease the burden on its weakening wings, would be a terrible mistake. And so the African Swallow flew on, cutting its way through the hot and heavy air, headed unknowingly for the parched deserts of the western region of MalBoncton, there to deliver unknowingly the Coconut of Peril to the evil sorcerer Myrddin L'Ami, his only hope in defeating the powerful Shedayphin.
