The Never Ending Quest - Episode 12262

With you is Victorian Era Governess Charlene Blastoise. She has tumbled into a haunted realm, looking for her sister and the three children under her charge. As she explains, there had been two mansions on the property of her employer. One was to never be entered because of recent structural failures that had severely bruised a local handyman.
But you know kids. An entire mansion off limits? You might as well have asked them if they wanted candy, instead of vegetables. Amy Blastoise, one of three town doctors [1], had been visiting for the express purpose of checking up on the children.

[1] Sure, a female doctor was not well accepted by the men of the town. But the women loved her. Ten newborn babies had been saved in one frantic month. Fevers vanished, infections fled, busted teeth almost just fell out. The men put up a fuss but every woman whose previously screaming child was now happy and healthy was a lifelong defender of Amy Blastoise.

  1. The kids are found in a spooky room.
  2. Amy Blaistoise is found with one of the kids. Both have deep forehead scratches, now washed and bandaged.
  3. Amy and Charlene learn that their last name is also the name of a friendly turtle being.
  4. An actual Blastoise shows up. Scary, yes, but he saves the kids so is swiftly hugged by both women.
  5. Two other kids, who were supposed to be fifty miles away, are found. Safe but confused.
