Neelix's Death

Neelix dies moments after the Borg drone. It is discovered the Borg had been part of an infiltration team designed as experiements in assimilating ships without the bother of battering down their sheilds first. The Borg had snuck aboard the same time that alien scientists did. The scientists were experimenting on the crew, 'hiding' by being slightly out of phase with time. The Borg had fought the scientists, who had killed all but one. This drone had been affected by the phasing machinery and had remained as insubstansial as a ghost until it had appeared in front of Neelix. Several hours after the funeral, as she sat alone in Cargo Bay 2, Seven is approached by one of the Delany twins. "Greetings." Seven says. "Hello." says the sister. Seven does not care enough to remember which one it is. "I don't have much time. If you want to go back and save Neelix, you must unconditionally agree. The time portal will not work with doubt." "Your behavior is illogical. Please come with me to Sickbay. You must have suffered a nervous breakdown after Neelix's death." "Dammit, Seven! I'm not really a Delany! Will you agree?"
