Having finished her search of Natalia's apartment, Stacy sat down on the
couch, pondering the already strange events of this still fairly new
day. The cologne in the bathroom was interesting, but too mundane to be anything other than a coincidence, she told herself. What disturbed her the most, though, had been her odd reaction to what she had seen on television. Before, she had been able to perhaps entertain the notion that before she had lost her memory, she had been something of a paranoiac, now, however, she wasn't so sure. It was strange, really. We lived on the same street in Ithaca. My parents were immigrants, so most of the neighborhood kids didn't want to associate with me, but you did, and that still means a lot to me. When you started to get in trouble here, and that creep the Professor started stalking you, I loaded all my stuff into a UHaul and came up here right away. I was so worried about you." Stacy pondered this. It certainly did explain Natalia's faint accent and the state of the apartment. As distrustful as she knew she should be, considering her predicament, something about Natalia just made Stacy want to trust her. Stacy did, however, want to know more. "You've been so good to me, Natalia, but I really have to ask this. Is there anything more I should know?" Natalia replied...
