Cocker spaniels are definitely cuter...

The Never Ending Quest - Episode 119439

Conveniently, they were very near the coast, and Regon was an expert in marine biology. He carried the dying Gigi to the water and swam out with her as far as he could before he began to work his magic.

She was in terrible pain, but soon that pain gave way to intense discomfort as her body shifted and grew in a great many directions. All of her legs stretched and stretched and stretched, and were joined by six others. Her mouth and eyes and everything else changed position completely, her fur fell out, she lost her long ears and her tail, and by the end of it she ahd no idea where she was, or where most of her body was. But one thing was sure: her pain was the least of her concerns.

It was an upsetting thing for Regon to witness, let alone do - his cute little dog had been turned into a 600-pound horror from the depths. He paddled above her, and finally thought to shout, "Stay nearby, I'll come back to find you when I'm done and you're healed!"

  1. But, for a wide variety of factors, Gigi couldn't hear him.
  2. His magic was stronger than any of the aforementioned factors, and Gigi was thus chained to the area by a magical tether.
