The poor red girl! She felt awful indeed, as her body reshaped itself. Eventually, she had to lie down and simply wait for it to be over. At last, it was, and she was no longer a beautiful human girl, but instead a brush goat - a doe with a bright red coat. She could not baa, even now, which she otherwise would have, in great panic, as the dwarves crowded around her.

  1. She was quite dumb, with her goat brain, and instinctively she tried to escape the cramped space. Not knowing how to care for a goat, the dwarves let her, and soon she was claimed by Llewellyn.
  2. She retained all her intelligence, as per the curse. The dwarves decided to keep her as a pet.
