The Never Ending Quest - Episode 119226

It started as what she thought was simply an upset stomach. About an hour later her dress was beginning to feel very tight around her belt, and she undid it and went to lie down, hoping to feel better after a bit of a break. She fell asleep, and when she woke up after about another hour, a horrible hot dread swept over her. Her midsection was bloating up, her waist over twice its previous circumference by now. But it was happening so much more slowly! What... what could be happening?

She slid out of her cot and waddled painfully to the common area, where the dwarves noticed the change at once. And almost immediately, they all declared in one solemn chorus that it seemed that, since she was reneging on her end of the fey version of a "deal," she was losing the benefits conferred on her by the kiss.

Red felt sick. So... so then her choice was between being an immobile, completely helpless giant berry... and being forcibly in love with a woodland fey?

  1. Between the two, she would choose the former. However, the dwarves seemed to have some sort of plan of how to stop the process from advancing any further.
  2. Between the two, she would choose the latter. Reluctantly, she removed her iron necklace, and went to search for Llewellyn while she could still move.
  3. Both were, of course, horrendous options, and she besought at least one of the dwarves to accompany her to the nearest village to search for magical aid while she could still move.
