Llewellyn brought his new mate to his satyr subjects, who were, as they usually were, in the midst of an intense session of cavorting with the dryads of the forest. Red - or Poppy, as they quickly took to calling her - was the only human around. The scarlet maiden was certainly in for a life of hedonism and debauchery that would have been repellent to Sir Fred, but fey magic was very powerful and all-consuming, and she embraced Llewellyn's ways freely. She was hardly ever sober, and wanted little more than gratification with Llewellyn, listening to his beautiful songs and dancing with him till she was sore and eating till she was sick. It was hardly a healthy life, and she had no fey nature to keep her fit. After a few years she had grown quite potbellied, with wrinkles and sagging skin.
