She retreated quickly, licking her wounds and quivering in fury. Those stupid puny humans! What did she do to them? She should stay well away from that village. Unfortunately for her, she had indeed landed quite close to the village in question, and if her plan was to be followed, she couldn't settle down too far from it. And the villagers had now caught her scent... and an ogre's head was a mighty prize many would seek. She spent many weeks wandering the same area, occasionally being sighted by the town, but always withdrawing quickly.
